An experienced exhibit designer for science, history and art museums, she also worked as staff scientific illustrator for Encyclopaedia Britannica. Connies' background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (UWM), study in scientific illustration at the Art Institute of Chicago and the certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration from the Denver Botanic Gardens.
